When creating a new Leadpages account, users are required to verify their email address. If you don’t verify your email address, you won’t be able to fully utilize your account.
The fine print
- Email verification affects accounts created after October 17th, 2022. It will not affect previously created accounts.
- Users who have not verified their email address will not be able to publish until they complete verification.
How to verify
Every user signing up with an email address and password will be required to verify their email address. Upon sign-up you’ll be sent an email titled “Welcome to Leadpages! Verify your email” with a link to verify your email.
- Open your email inbox for the email address you signed up with.
- Click “Verify your email” to complete the verification process.
- Upon receiving the verification confirmation, return to Leadpages and carry on.
NOTE: If you still see the verification banner after seeing the verification confirmation, try refreshing your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see a banner in my account asking me to verify?
If you’re seeing the verification banner in your account, your email likely hasn’t been verified yet. Click the “Verify” button to re-send yourself the verification email then follow the steps above in the “How to verify” section.
Why can’t I publish anything in my account?
Because we require verification to show legitimacy of the email address used with the account, we block certain actions until you’ve verified your account. Verify your account to unlock the full capabilities of your account.
What if I didn’t receive the email?
If you didn’t receive the email, navigate to your Account Settings and verify your email address is spelled correctly. If not, follow the steps to Edit Email and correct your email address to verify.
What if my email is spelled correctly, and I’m still not seeing the email in my inbox?
We have a few things you can try if you still aren’t seeing the email. You could search for the email subject line “Welcome to Leadpages! Verify your email” to try to quickly locate it (in case it got stuck in the wrong email folder).
If you still aren’t seeing it and it has been more than a few minutes, return to the Leadpages app and click “Verify” from the in-app banner to resend the email to yourself.
