As a Leadpages subscriber on a Grow, Optimize, or Scale plan, you are entitled to one free custom domain, included with your subscription. This benefit is powered by Entri's domain purchasing service and lets you claim a professional web address, consistent with your brand, without any additional cost.
Who is eligible?
The free custom domain is available to Leadpages users on the following plans:
- Grow
- Optimize
- Scale
Each eligible account receives one free domain for the lifetime of the account. Once a domain has been redeemed, the entitlement is marked as used and cannot be applied to a second domain.
If you are on the free (Starter) Leadpages plan or a legacy plan that does not appear in the list above, this offer does not apply to your account. Consider switching to a qualifying new Leadpages plan to take advantage of this benefit.
Claiming your free domain
You can claim your free domain right from your account dashboard.
1. Access the Domains Manager
- In the left-hand navigation bar, under Manage, click Custom Domains.
- Select Claim Free Domain.
- A domain search powered by Entri will open, to ensure that your unique custom domain is available for use.
Step 2: Choose your domain
- Review the available options and extensions (such as
.com,.co,.net) displayed in the results. - Select the domain you want. Make sure it is marked as included in your free domain offer — eligible domains will be clearly indicated.
Step 3: Confirm your redemption
- Review the order summary to confirm a $0.00 charge before confirming. Because this domain is included in your plan, you will not be charged for eligible domain options. However, a billing address and payment method is required.
- Follow the checkout prompts to confirm your redemption.
- Once you confirm, Leadpages automatically sets up your connection with Entri. No manual DNS edits required. Your account is updated and the domain is registered to you.
- Return to Leadpages to publish your page on your new domain.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the free domain offer in my dashboard.
- Confirm your account is on a Grow, Optimize, or Scale plan. The offer is not available on the free plan or other plan tiers.
- If you have already connected a custom domain, the nudge banner will not appear. You can still access the free domain offer through the Domains section in Settings.
- If you believe your plan is eligible but you still cannot see the offer, try logging out and logging back in to refresh your account data.
I already redeemed my free domain but I need to make a change.
The free domain offer can only be used once. If you need to transfer, release, or make changes to your registered domain, please contact IONOS Support for assistance.
The domain I want is not available.
Domain availability depends on whether the domain name is already registered. Some domains may not be available as part of the free domain offer. If your preferred domain is taken, try alternative extensions (such as .co or .net) or a variation of the name. Entri will also suggest available alternatives.
My domain is not working after purchase.
DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet. If your domain is not resolving correctly:
- Wait at least 30 minutes and try again.
- Verify the domain appears in your Domains Manager without any error indicators.
- Ensure the domain is assigned to a published page in that page's Publishing Settings.
- If the issue persists after 48 hours, contact our support team with your domain name and account email.
I was charged for the domain.
Eligible domains redeemed through the free domain entitlement should have a $0.00 charge. If you were unexpectedly billed, please get in touch with our support team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my free domain with more than one page?
Of course! Once your domain is registered and connected to Leadpages, you can publish multiple pages to that domain using different paths (for example, you can use yourdomain.com/offer and yourdomain.com/contact).
What happens to my domain if I downgrade my plan?
The domain registration remains in place regardless of plan changes. Hower, contact Support if you have questions about how a plan change might affect your domain.
Is the free domain renewed automatically every year?
No, the free domain offer is only for a single year. Renewal terms and costs will be provided at the time you complete your domain purchase. Check the details in the Entri purchase flow for exact renewal pricing.
