[New Leadpages] Analytics & Insights — Understanding Your Page Performance

Last Updated

Overview

Leadpages includes built-in analytics on every published page — no extra tools or tracking codes needed. View traffic, conversions, and visitor data from both the Dashboard and directly inside the editor.

Account-Wide Analytics

Go to Dashboard → Analytics for a bird's-eye view across all your pages:

  • Total views and unique visitors

  • Conversion rate — Percentage of visitors who submitted a form, clicked a tracked element, or completed a purchase

  • Bounce rate — Percentage of visitors who left without interacting

  • Device breakdown — Desktop vs. mobile vs. tablet traffic

  • Traffic sources — Organic, paid, social, referral, and direct traffic with UTM parameter tracking

  • Top performing pages — Sorted by views or conversion rate

In-Editor Insights Panel

While editing a page, click the Insights icon (bar chart) in the toolbar to open the Insights Panel. This gives you real-time analytics for the current page without leaving the editor:

  • Views, visitors, and conversion rate

  • Bounce rate and average time on page

  • Top traffic sources with visitor counts

  • Device breakdown

Conversion Tracking

Track what happens after visitors land on your page:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Conversions.

  2. Click Add Destination to track conversions on an external site (e.g., your Shopify store, Calendly booking page, or Stripe checkout).

  3. Set an attribution window (how long after clicking your page a conversion counts — default is 7 days).

  4. View conversion counts, revenue, and which pages drive the most results.

UTM Parameters

Leadpages automatically captures UTM parameters from your traffic sources. If you're running Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or email campaigns with UTM tags, you'll see the breakdown by campaign, source, and medium in your analytics.

Data Retention

How far back your analytics data goes depends on your plan:

  • Grow: 12 months

  • Optimize: 24 months

  • Scale: 36 months

Privacy

Leadpages respects visitor privacy signals and consent choices when collecting analytics data.

  • If a visitor's browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, no visitor identifier is set and no analytics data is collected for that visit.

  • If your page has a cookie consent or privacy management tool installed (for example Cookiebot, OneTrust, CookieYes, Iubenda, or a tool using Google's consent mode), analytics tracking waits until the visitor grants consent for analytics/statistics cookies before any identifier is set or any data is sent. If the visitor accepts later in their visit, tracking begins from that point on. If the visitor never consents, no analytics data is collected for that visit.

  • If your page has no cookie consent tool installed, analytics tracking behaves as described above in this article, starting as soon as the page loads.
