[HTMLPub] Understanding Page Settings

Last Updated

Overview

After publishing a page, you can manage it from the Pages list. Each page row has a set of action buttons that let you edit the HTML, configure settings, view analytics, and more.

Row Actions

Hover over any page row to reveal the action buttons on the right:

  • Edit — Re-open the publish screen to paste or drop updated HTML for this page.
  • Open (external link icon) — View the live page in a new tab.
  • Share — Copy the page URL or get a shareable link.
  • Password (lock icon) — Set, update, or remove a password that visitors must enter before viewing the page.
  • ⋯ More — Opens the dropdown menu with additional options (see below).

Dropdown Menu Options

  • Assets — View and manage files associated with the page (images, scripts, stylesheets).
  • Submissions — View form submissions collected from this page.
• Share — Additional sharing options.
  • Move to Site — Attach this standalone page to one of your Sites so it shares that site's domain and navigation.
  • Delete — Permanently remove the page. This cannot be undone.

Editing the Page Title and Slug

The page title and URL slug can be updated directly in the Pages list:

  • Title — Click the page title to edit it inline. The title appears in the browser tab and is used as the page name throughout the dashboard.
  • Slug — Click the slug (shown in grey below the title) to rename it. Slugs must be lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only, between 10 and 64 characters. Note: changing the slug changes the page URL — existing links to the old URL will break.

Password Protection

Click the lock icon on any page row to password-protect it. Visitors will be shown a password prompt before the page loads. You can update or remove the password at any time from the same icon.

Custom Domain

To serve a page from your own domain instead of the default /p/[slug] URL, go to Custom Domains in the left sidebar. See Connecting a Custom Domain for a full walkthrough.

Tags

The Tags column in the Pages list lets you add tags to organise your pages. Click the + in the Tags column on any row to add a tag.
